Here is an original piece of postcard artwork done in pen which is on it's way to Whistable for an open invite exhibition at the Horsebridge Arts & community centre entitled Post Nude. All you got to do is draw a nude on a postcard and post it at the cost of a stamp.. As if I needed encouragement to draw a nude; it was completed with a bunged up nose though I may add. Click to enlarge this artwork.

All afternoon my nose has been bunged up and running; delightful information eh if your sat eating. I gave up this afternoon drawing on some expensive paper due to this factor. Then made myself do something on the computer. Here you have it above...
Today must be another of the hottest days of the year and I have a runny blocked nose just what I need reet now. Which proves to be annoying if you want to draw on nice paper. I've heard about read about various combo's but seeing an image of Shakira in a swimsuit and a pair of wellies it works for me..

I cannot believe its next month till the private view of my solo show the 14th of May at Hornseys Ripon; this year is flying readers. It's the London Marathon this sunday another sporting fixture on the calendar. Click to enlarge the image above
Yesterday I went down London village to drop some artwork which was selected for an open exhibition at the cycling cafe / bar "Look Mum No Hands" at 89 Old Street. They do a splendid coffee there and some great food. Having left the cafe and only having walked a short distance we were offered a free hug by a few women. Me and my mate walked on by, to be confronted by a lady to quiz us about our reaction for the Guardian newspaper. It's at this point I turned on the charm and cheekiness and turned things on there head but I did get a Kiss and a cuddle. Maybe tomorrow myself or my mate Dominic Trevett will be quoted or maybe they will leave my cheeky comments out. I also met artist Pure Evil at his gallery space who was a thoroughly nice bloke.

Today I've been dropping work at Hornseys in Ripon. But more importantly I've been to see framer David Harrison in Ripon for his picture framing skills. We have been discussing suitable frames for some work I've produced for my solo show which starts May 14th. Go get your artworks framed by this gent it was lovely to discuss a number of framing outcomes to compliment my artwork. He even made me a brew; first class service in my book..

The weather has been grand the last two days; I've managed to get some miles done on my bike amongst other duties. Good to see plenty of riders out the other day, I just hope this lovely weather continues; cos I for one was sick of all the cold dark miserable days.

On Thursday I spent the day working with students at The University Of Salford. I look forward to seeing lots of ideas, research and image making in the forth coming weeks generated by the students. Lots of healthy looking sketchbooks should be on the agenda and they will all get on brilliantly. The other night I did some miles on my bike it was breezy and I struggled; but I'd been on the go early doors and it was the end of the day.
