Well readers its the start of a brand new week owt can happen. It's Easter week aswell although I'm planning to dodge easter eggs I'm planning to lose at least half a stone over the next few weeks so I go better on the bike. I was sorting some of my gear out last night can anyone give me a reason why I bought some green and yellow trainers which need to be used at some point.

Well readers this weekend I admit should have been planned better by myself. Although the highlights were discovering the "Coinstar" at the supermarket it like an alternative Las Vegas experience for me in South Yorkshire. I also enjoyed watching Julia Bradbury pull on some waders and try her hand at fly fishing on countryfile. I must get back into fishing at some point I used to do a lot of it. But reet now I need cycling in my life I guess. Readers this tuesday evening get to Newby Hall in Ripon North Yorkshire for the launch party. My new limited edition print produced for Newby Hall "Balmy days" will be exhibited with new work by Jonny Hannah and Ed Kluz.

Well I've been resolving an image at the time of writing I'm still worrying and thinking it over. However readers I can tell you that Michael Caine in "Harry Brown" it's a superb movie and very relevant to Britain; fierce but very contemporary for today's Britain. Click to enlarge the image above.

Well today I got my new specs which have caused many comments. There was a customer in the opticians that said I looked smart I think she was just on the payroll myself sat in there pretending to be a customer. They cannot fool me. Meanwhile the sun is out at my end good times are en route.

Well today I got a new Sherlock Holmes graphic novel "A Study In Scarlet" by Edington & Culbard. Plus a graphic novel I spotted "John Broadley books by John Broadley". Not sure where I've been but this chap lives in london with his wife and three sons. His work gives a nod to Edward Bawden and Eric Ravilious. This book is a collection of his works since 1996 in short he is a genius. I hope on my travels I meet this legend. I'll buy you a pint or a brew sir.

This morning I've been working on an image whilst listening to the radio. Readers what ever happened to Lisa Stansfield one of her tunes was on the airwaves. At the time of writing I'm hungry, I skipped breakfast I've been working since 7.30 am its now almost 12 my watch alarm will remind me. I need food now and a brew.

I did find it amusing trying on lots of pairs of specs earlier. The sales assistant was very honest with the pairs I tried. "Not those you look nerdy, "Not those you look too like a student", "Not those you look like a toff", I didn't want them I'm a working class hero. When the sales assistant got round to dialogue "Yes they suit you look young and stylish and hot in them" Actually I just added in them last four words. She didn't say I was hot, truth be told; I think she delicately side stepped I've got a large head.
This morning I've had to have an eye test it was well over due; and yep I need new specs. I also followed the eye test up with a quick hair trim then left Donny with a Danny Dyer dvd box set to digest more of his roguish charm, wit and fantastic dialogue. Plus that lass in Dead Man Running, yep its a small cameo part but she works for me.

Above is part of something I'm doing at the moment. looking out the window the sun is out again, I'm liking it. On the radio they were just discussing a Cafe somewhere in this country which closes for Lunch!!!! I'm no Alan Sugar but that does not add up.
