Well I had to complete 2009 with some cups of tea a bike ride, a brief shopping trip and the above image which I think is gonna be part of summet. Happy New Year readers I hope your wishes come true.
Where I live down the back lanes runs some old rail tracks where the coal is moved up and down, I usually see it every now and again on my early morning ride.
Well I've done a cheeky bike ride and got soaked in the process. I believe another full moon is on the cards. I'll be honest its quite nice doing a bike ride early morning with a full moon you should try it readers.
I think Guy Ritchie's divorce has helped his film making skills Sherlock Holmes with Jude Law and Robert Downey Junior I quite enjoyed. The bare knuckle fighting adds a fresh dimension to the holmes adventures. I've not done any miles on the bike today I feel a bit guilty.
Well readers I've had a fantastic christmas I received a mr Potato Head some books to doodle in and lots of fragrance people are trying to tell me I smell no doubt. I've eaten loads and watched lots of telly and films over the last few days. You cannot beat a bit of Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes. I did a few miles on my bike this morning, I did spot some people making there way home.
I'm sure its much colder today, I'm freezing readers. I've done some doodles and basically sat on my heater. Oh and supped tea and read some of the paper.
I think readers I shall dress like this from the age of 60 and ride a bike with a basket on it down country lanes. Maybe I've watched too many episodes of Lovejoy and been inspired by Tinker. Reet kettle on.
Just been reading parents cannot buy for love nor money the Lego Indiana Jones Temple of Doom sets. Those boxed sets have flown of the shelves its more popular than ever. You cannot beat some lego for a bit of fun, I've got loads. Looks like another stay indoors type of day and have the kettle on lots.
On my walk to the paper shop I was nearly over twice. I spotted a snowman and a robin en route, it is freezing even treated myself to a signature hot chocolate today with cream on top. Fear not I'll burn it off on the bike.
Well readers check me in my santa outfit although ladies my thighs in real life are more sculpted thanks to the cycling. Its freezing outdoors proper scarf weather. I braved it yesterday on my bike and boy it was an experience. The sleet was coming down first thing in the morning, does lance train in weather like that?
Well readers just done under forty miles on the bike in rain and some sleet. it was freezing but all good fun. My bath and brew at the end of it was so good I earnt them today. Me and my mate Phil were the only plonkers on bikes we spotted no other cyclists.
Readers check www.thunderchunky.co.uk see also "Me Mates" section on the right; check the Time Capsule that they have produced there are some fantastic images involved in the capsule. Enjoy reviewing them with a brew.
I'm gonna start making plans for next year, might dream up a fitness regime ie cut back on the chocolate. I've cycled this morning in the pouring rain it was certainly fresh this morning.
Ok so I admit, just what will I watch from now on a saturday night after the X factor conclusion. Well done to that man Joe. The man Olly will bounce back I'm sure. Well I best crack on with some tasks for the day.
Well readers I got soaked this evening cycling, cannot believe the bolt holding my bike seat sheared when it snapped it was like a gun shot it turned heads I'll tell you. Blimey I turn 31 this coming tuesday.
Well it was a frosty morning but I kicked started it at 5.30am with a morning bike ride. I have to admit the scarf and skull cap worn under my helmet were much appreciated this morning. A cup of tea at the end of the ride was the ticket.
Nothing exciting to report at this end I've been doing the books today. Enough of numbers and figures. I want a brew and a biscuit. I've heard its going to get real frosty next week proper scarf weather readers so get ready.
Well this aft I've drawn this festive tonic. I've read a list about 25 movers and shakers in the fashion world Nick Knight and Paul Smith were on it. I've eaten two festive gingerbread men done some drawings and supped some tea, plus done some miles on my bike. Its been great.
I see the new sherlock holmes movie is out on Boxing day at the cinema. This morning I've admired the new Radioshack cycling jersey worn by Lance Armstrong; I cannot wait for next years Tour de France.
Well I did this small festive doodle in my sketchbook first thing with a brew on the go. I thought I'd share this nugget from my sketchbook with you all. Any how best crack on with things just after I put my scarf on its cold.
Well this afternoon I did some more miles on the bike it was a little windy out there and wet on the roads. By the end of it it looked like I might have been off road mountain biking. Me and my mate did stop off for a can of pop I scoffed some fruit cake to fuel the rest of my bike ride.
Well readers looking for criminals at 3.30am in the rain wearing just your underpants is not a good look which actually happened to me. Dam those pesky robbers. Nor is being ditched by your girlfriend for a playstation 3 obsession which has actually happened to tennis superstar Andy Murray. Well Kim Sears there is no PS3 obsession at this end just a brew addiction.
In my next life I'm gonna have a post round in Greendale, talk tractors with Ted Glen and drink lots more tea. If your in London from the 4th to the 6th of December visit the East London Design Show and visit stand 98.
Well readers it looks a grey, wet miserable day outdoors. But its Sunshine indoors let the doodles and tea making begin on the third day of christmas. Reet I need to crack on with some tasks.
This morning it was freezing out on the bike there was rain I swear it was trying a little to snow. I drew this up the other day. To be honest I feel I'm gonna develop this image this is the start of summet.
My dad has produced the above image today, I thought it was appropriate being Red and White with it being the 1st of December. My old man produced it using food color and chinese brushes working from a photograph.
Well readers find me on the back page of the Guardians Sport section tomorrow involving some grass stains. Alternatively check Dominic trevett's blog in me mates section for his Rodeo illustration. He loves his Maps that bloke. Plus check Thunderchunky's blog looks like there's a KidRobot store in London. Reet its the first of December I need a brew and possibly make a christmas list.
